God's Kingdom salvation sons of the kingdom

X f W T in

Why did the Kingdom of God become necessary?

When Adam unexpectedly fell into sin, God responded to it with his godly qualities such as wisdom, justice and love on the spot.
It was not preplanned.
God never preplanned such an accident in his family, nor preplanned the ransom by his first born.

The promise of the seed to destroy Satan and to save Adam's family was made as a manifestation of Godly qualities on the spot without any preplanning.

From the way how God responded to the unexpected incident on the moment, we learn God's unmeasurable wisdom, perfect justice and the depth of love for his family.

It was the moment that God foreordained the seed and his associates.
At that moment, God determined and declared His plan of salvation.

Before that God didn't have such an idea nor to know the possibility, nor to need to know the possibility.
God can face any situation when it happens and can handle it with his godly quality on the spot.

So it was after Adam fell into the sin that God foreordained the salvation of Adam's family.

He declared at Ge 3:15 about the promised seed.

Ge 3:15
15 And I shall put enmity between you and the woman and between your seed and her seed. He (Christ) will bruise you (Satan) in the head and you (Satan) will bruise him (Christ) in the heel."

From that moment on, the administration to gather all things together again in the Christ, the things in the heavens and the things on the earth got started. The administration is called the Kingdom of God and brings salvation to Adam's family.

God foretold the life of the promised seed that would crush Satan's head and the life of the sons of the kingdom who would follow the life of Christ, the promised seed.

He never foreordained individually who would be the sons of the kingdom.
There is no such an idea in the Bible.

God foreordained all the sons of the kingdom would be chosen after Christ provided the essential ransom.
God foreordained the sons of the kingdom would be chosen from all nations, tongues, tribes.
God foreordained the sons of the kingdom would have the same fate that Christ had.
These are the decisions God made on the spot. God wills it that way, and it will come to pass that way.

Mt 10:38-39
38 And whoever does not accept his torture stake and follow after me is not worthy of me. 39 He that finds his soul will lose it, and he that loses his soul for my sake will find it.

Mt 16:24-25
24 . . . "If anyone wants to come after me, let him disown himself and pick up his torture stake and continually follow me. 25 For whoever wants to save his soul will lose it; but whoever loses his soul for my sake will find it.

Mr 8:34-35
34 He now called the crowd to him with his disciples and said to them: "If anyone wants to come after me, let him disown himself and pick up his torture stake and follow me continually. 35 For whoever wants to save his soul will lose it; but whoever loses his soul for the sake of me and the good news will save it.

Lu 9:23-24
23 Then he went on to say to all: "If anyone wants to come after me, let him disown himself and pick up his torture stake day after day and follow me continually. 24 For whoever wants to save his soul will lose it; but whoever loses his soul for my sake is the one that will save it.

Consider the significance of the fact that the invitation is extended to all.

Anyone who wishes is invited to become the Sons of the Kingdom.
No particular person is destined to be a part of the son of the kingdom.
Just only the conditions of becoming as such are fixed.

God never foreordained a person to be the sons of the kingdom.
God foreordained those belonging to Christ, the sons of the kingdom and their life pattern, not each individual.

Ro 8:28-30
28 Now we know that God makes all his works cooperate together for the good of those who love God, those who are the ones called according to his purpose; 29 because those whom he gave his first recognition he also foreordained to be patterned after the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30 Moreover, those whom he foreordained are the ones he also called; and those whom he called are the ones he also declared to be righteous. Finally those whom he declared righteous are the ones he also glorified.

Things foreordained about the sons of the kingdom

criteria of sons of kingdom

They are those who accept Christ.

Mt 11:11-13
11 Truly I say to YOU people, Among those born of women there has not been raised up a greater than John the Baptist; but a person that is a lesser one in the kingdom of the heavens is greater than he is. 12 But from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of the heavens is the goal toward which men press, and those pressing forward are seizing it.

Joh 1:12-13
12 However, as many as did receive him, to them he gave authority to become God's children, because they were exercising faith in his name; 13 and they were born, not from blood or from a fleshly will or from man's will, but from God. (This arrangement was not made by man, but by God.)

They are childlike.

Mt 18:1-3
In that hour the disciples came near to Jesus and said: "Who really is greatest in the kingdom of the heavens?" 2 So, calling a young child to him, he set it in their midst 3 and said: "Truly I say to YOU, Unless YOU turn around and become as young children, YOU will by no means enter into the kingdom of the heavens.

Lu 18:17
17 Truly I say to YOU, Whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a young child will by no means get into it."

They highly value the kingdom.

Mt 13:44-46
44 "The kingdom of the heavens is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid; and for the joy he has he goes and sells what things he has and buys that field.
45 "Again the kingdom of the heavens is like a traveling merchant seeking fine pearls. 46 Upon finding one pearl of high value, away he went and promptly sold all the things he had and bought it.

Mr 10:21-23
21 Jesus looked upon him and felt love for him and said to him: "One thing is missing about you: Go, sell what things you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven, and come be my follower." 22 But he grew sad at the saying and went off grieved, for he was holding many possessions.
23 After looking around Jesus said to his disciples: "How difficult a thing it will be for those with money to enter into the kingdom of God!"

Lu 18:22-25
22 After hearing that, Jesus said to him: "There is yet one thing lacking about you: Sell all the things you have and distribute to poor people, and you will have treasure in the heavens; and come be my follower." 23 When he heard this, he became deeply grieved, for he was very rich.
24 Jesus looked at him and said: "How difficult a thing it will be for those having money to make their way into the kingdom of God! 25 It is easier, in fact, for a rope (a camel) to get through the eye of a sewing needle than for a rich man to get into the kingdom of God."

They are destined to be killed, like Christ.

Lu 12:3-5
4 Moreover, I say to YOU, my friends, Do not fear those who kill the body and after this are not able to do anything more. 5 But I will indicate to YOU whom to fear: Fear him who after killing has authority to throw into Ge·hen′na. Yes, I tell YOU, fear this One.

Mt 20:22-23
22 Jesus said in answer: "YOU men do not know what YOU are asking for. Can YOU drink the cup that I am about to drink?" They said to him: "We can." 23 He said to them: "YOU will indeed drink my cup,

Mr 10:38-39
38 But Jesus said to them: "YOU do not know what YOU are asking for. Are YOU able to drink the cup which I am drinking, or to be baptized with the baptism with which I am being baptized?" 39 They said to him: "We are able." At that Jesus said to them: "The cup I am drinking YOU will drink, and with the baptism with which I am being baptized YOU will be baptized.

Ro 6:3
3 Or do YOU not know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?

1Co 4:9
9 For it seems to me that God has put us the apostles last on exhibition as men appointed to death, because we have become a theatrical spectacle to the world, and to angels, and to men.

Re 6:9-11
9 And when he opened the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of those slaughtered because of the word of God and because of the witness work that they used to have. 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying: "Until when, Sovereign Lord holy and true, are you refraining from judging and avenging our blood upon those who dwell on the earth?" 11 And a white robe was given to each of them; and they were told to rest a little while longer, until the number was filled also of their fellow slaves and their brothers who were about to be killed as they also had been.

Re 12:11
11 And they conquered him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their witnessing, and they did not love their souls even in the face of death.

Re 20:4
4 And I saw thrones, and there were those who sat down on them, and power of judging was given them. Yes, I saw the souls of those executed with the ax for the witness they bore to Jesus and for speaking about God, and those who had worshiped neither the wild beast nor its image and who had not received the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand. And they came to life and ruled as kings with the Christ for a thousand years.

The sons of the kingdom will conquer the Satan, original serpent by their faithful death just as their Lord Christ did. It was foretold this way in Ge 3:15 "He (Christ) will bruise you (Satan) in the head and you (Satan) will bruise him (Christ) in the heel.”

They are walking in spirit while they are still on earth.

Ga 5:25
25 If we are living by spirit, let us go on walking orderly also by spirit.

Ga 6:15-16
15 For neither is circumcision anything nor is uncircumcision, but a new creation [is something]. 16 And all those who will walk orderly by this rule of conduct, upon them be peace and mercy, even upon the Israel of God.

The sons of the kingdom live by the standards of the Bible. They follow God and Christ rather than men.

They are equally taken from every nation, tribe, tongue, race.

Re 5:5-10
9 And they sing a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll and open its seals, because you were slaughtered and with your blood you bought persons for God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, 10 and you made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God, and they are to rule as kings over the earth."

Re 7:4-8
4 And I heard the number of those who were sealed, a hundred and forty-four thousand, sealed out of every tribe of the sons of Israel:
5 Out of the tribe of Judah twelve thousand sealed;
out of the tribe of Reu′ben twelve thousand;
out of the tribe of Gad twelve thousand;
6 out of the tribe of Ash′er twelve thousand;
out of the tribe of Naph′ta·li twelve thousand;
out of the tribe of Ma·nas′seh twelve thousand;
7 out of the tribe of Sim′e·on twelve thousand;
out of the tribe of Le′vi twelve thousand;
out of the tribe of Is′sa·char twelve thousand;
8 out of the tribe of Zeb′u·lun twelve thousand;
out of the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand;
out of the tribe of Benjamin twelve thousand sealed.

Re 14:3-5
3 . . . the hundred and forty-four thousand, who have been bought from the earth. 4 These are the ones that did not defile themselves with women; in fact, they are virgins. These are the ones that keep following the Lamb no matter where he goes. These were bought from among mankind as firstfruits to God and to the Lamb, 5 and no falsehood was found in their mouths; they are without blemish.

They are repentant sinners.

Mt 9:9-13
9 Next, while passing along from there, Jesus caught sight of a man named Matthew seated at the tax office, and he said to him: "Be my follower." Thereupon he did rise up and follow him. 10 Later, while he was reclining at the table in the house, look! many tax collectors and sinners came and began reclining with Jesus and his disciples. 11 But on seeing this the Pharisees began to say to his disciples: "Why is it that YOUR teacher eats with tax collectors and sinners?" 12 Hearing [them], he said: "Persons in health do not need a physician, but the ailing do. 13 Go, then, and learn what this means, 'I want mercy, and not sacrifice.' For I came to call, not righteous people, but sinners."

Mt 21:28-32
28 "What do YOU think? A man had two children. Going up to the first, he said, 'Child, go work today in the vineyard.' 29 In answer this one said, 'I will, sir,' but did not go out. 30 Approaching the second, he said the same. In reply this one said, 'I will not.' Afterwards he felt regret and went out. 31 Which of the two did the will of [his] father?" They said: "The latter." Jesus said to them: "Truly I say to YOU that the tax collectors and the harlots are going ahead of YOU into the kingdom of God. 32 For John came to YOU in a way of righteousness, but YOU did not believe him. However, the tax collectors and the harlots believed him, and YOU, although YOU saw [this], did not feel regret afterwards so as to believe him.

Mr 2:15-17
15 Later he happened to be reclining at the table in his house, and many tax collectors and sinners were reclining with Jesus and his disciples, for there were many of them and they began following him. 16 But the scribes of the Pharisees, when they saw he was eating with the sinners and tax collectors, began saying to his disciples: "Does he eat with the tax collectors and sinners?" 17 Upon hearing this Jesus said to them: "Those who are strong do not need a physician, but those who are ill do. I came to call, not righteous people, but sinners."

Lu 5:27-32
27 Now after these things he went out and beheld a tax collector named Le′vi sitting at the tax office, and he said to him: "Be my follower." 28 And leaving everything behind he rose up and went following him. 29 Also, Le′vi spread a big reception feast for him in his house; and there was a great crowd of tax collectors and others who were with them reclining at the meal. 30 At this the Pharisees and their scribes began murmuring to his disciples, saying: "Why is it YOU eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?" 31 In reply Jesus said to them: "Those who are healthy do not need a physician, but those who are ailing do. 32 I have come to call, not righteous persons, but sinners to repentance."

Lu 15:1-7
1 Now all the tax collectors and the sinners kept drawing near to him to hear him. 2 Consequently both the Pharisees and the scribes kept muttering, saying: "This man welcomes sinners and eats with them." 3 Then he spoke this illustration to them, saying: 4 "What man of YOU with a hundred sheep, on losing one of them, will not leave the ninety-nine behind in the wilderness and go for the lost one until he finds it? 5 And when he has found it he puts it upon his shoulders and rejoices. 6 And when he gets home he calls his friends and his neighbors together, saying to them, 'Rejoice with me, because I have found my sheep that was lost.' 7 I tell YOU that thus there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner that repents than over ninety-nine righteous ones who have no need of repentance.

Ac 4:13
13 Now when they beheld the outspokenness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were men unlettered and ordinary, they got to wondering. And they began to recognize about them that they used to be with Jesus;

1Co 1:26-29
26 For YOU behold his calling of YOU, brothers, that not many wise in a fleshly way were called, not many powerful, not many of noble birth; 27 but God chose the foolish things of the world, that he might put the wise men to shame; and God chose the weak things of the world, that he might put the strong things to shame; 28 and God chose the ignoble things of the world and the things looked down upon, the things that are not, that he might bring to nothing the things that are, 29 in order that no flesh might boast in the sight of God.

1Co 6:9-11
9 What! Do YOU not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God's kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men, 10 nor thieves, nor greedy persons, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit God's kingdom. 11 And yet that is what some of YOU were. But YOU have been washed clean, but YOU have been sanctified, but YOU have been declared righteous in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and with the spirit of our God.

1Ti 1:15-16
15 Faithful and deserving of full acceptance is the saying that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. Of these I am foremost. 16 Nevertheless, the reason why I was shown mercy was that by means of me as the foremost case Christ Jesus might demonstrate all his long-suffering for a sample of those who are going to rest their faith on him for everlasting life.

Ja 2:5
5 Listen, my beloved brothers. God chose the ones who are poor respecting the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom, which he promised to those who love him, did he not?

God foreordained the sons of the kingdom with above characteristics as the associate rulers of the promised seed Christ Jesus, but never preselected individuals.

The invitation of becoming such is extended to all.

Lu 9:23-24
23 Then he went on to say to all: "If anyone wants to come after me, let him disown himself and pick up his torture stake day after day and follow me continually. 24 For whoever wants to save his soul will lose it; but whoever loses his soul for my sake is the one that will save it.

But people will be narrowed down with the foreordained standards shown above.

Mt 22:14
14 "For there are many invited, but few chosen."

Lu 13:24
24 "Exert yourselves vigorously to get in through the narrow door, because many, I tell YOU, will seek to get in but will not be able,

The New Jerusalem coming down from heaven, when?

It is not after the millennial reign. Because the Millennial Reign is set aside for the cure of the human family.

It is foreordained that Christ and the sons of the kingdom are to serve as king-priests to restore the perfect condition lost by Adam's disobedience. And the death caused by Adamic sin is to be conquered as the last enemy by the end of the thousand years of Christ's kingdom reign.

1Co 15:24-26
24 Next, the end, when he hands over the kingdom to his God and Father, when he has brought to nothing all government and all authority and power. 25 For he must rule as king until [God] has put all enemies under his feet. 26 As the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing.

Re 20:4, 6
4 And I saw thrones, and there were those who sat down on them, and power of judging was given them. Yes, I saw the souls of those executed with the ax for the witness they bore to Jesus and for speaking about God, and those who had worshiped neither the wild beast nor its image and who had not received the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand. And they came to life and ruled as kings with the Christ for a thousand years.

6 Happy and holy is anyone having part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no authority, but they will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will rule as kings with him for the thousand years.

Re 5:10
10 and you made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God, and they are to rule as kings over the earth."

So, Christ and his bride will come down from heaven at the beginning of the thousand years kingdom reign, immediately after the manifestation of the great power of heavenly armies at the battle of Armageddon.

The Great crowd will not be left alone on devastated earth without any heavenly direction. Immediately after the old heaven and old earth passing away, the God kingdom will strongly and lovingly take over everything for the benefit of all humankind suppressed by Satan for 6000 years.

When Christ reappears on earth with his Bride, it will be a time of restoration or re-creation of all things.

Ac 3:20-21
20 . . . Jesus, 21 whom heaven, indeed, must hold within itself until the times of restoration of all things of which God spoke through the mouth of his holy prophets of old time.

It will be the time when the new Jerusalem is to come down from heaven with it curing mission. For this reason, the river of life and the tree with which leaves have curing effect are in that city descending from heaven.

Re 21:1-4, 10
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea is no more. 2 I saw also the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God and prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: "Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."

10 . . . he showed me the holy city Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God

Re 22:1-2
1 And he showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, flowing out from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 down the middle of its broad way. And on this side of the river and on that side [there were] trees of life producing twelve crops of fruit, yielding their fruits each month. And the leaves of the trees [were] for the curing of the nations.

Notice that the coming down of the New Jerusalem is associated with the event of God wiping away all tears from the eyes of the people and healing the nations.

It is destined to occur during the thousand years Christ's reign, the time of the restoration of all things.

All Adam's families will benefit themselves by the seed of Abraham which is represented by the New Jerusalem.

Ge 22: 18
18 And by means of your seed all nations of the earth will certainly bless themselves.

So, the new Jerusalem will descend from the heaven at the beginning of the Christ's thousand years reign and will work during the thousand years in order to restore the original condition of Adam's family from the mess created by Satan's unclean cruel haughty spirit.

All mankind will learn who is responsible for their calamitous short life in the past. Satan and his seeds, demons and evil doers will be debunked completely as it is said "But there is nothing carefully concealed that will not be revealed, and secret that will not become known."

Satan and his demons will be forced to see that the peoples and nations who were once deceived by their lies have learned the truth. It will bring shame to Satan and the demons.

These will happen during the thousand years Christ's reign.

preaching and teaching work,

First, no one is responsible for the salvation of others.
God will certainly decide who will be one of the sons of the Kingdom.
The actual harvest is done by angels, not humans.

Mt 13:37-39
37 In response he said: "The sower of the fine seed is the Son of man; 38 the field is the world; as for the fine seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; but the weeds are the sons of the wicked one, 39 and the enemy that sowed them is the Devil. The harvest is a conclusion of a system of things, and the reapers are angels.

What we can do is really nothing.

Lu 12:2-6
25 Who of YOU by being anxious can add a cubit to his life span? 26 If, therefore, YOU cannot do the least thing, why be anxious about the remaining things?

Mt 6:27
27 Who of YOU by being anxious can add one cubit to his life span?

The work of kingdom and reconciliation is not ours, but God's.
Whatever we can do in our limited life, this we will do, that's all.

1Co 7:21
21 Were you called when a slave? Do not let it worry you; but if you can also become free, rather seize the opportunity.

We are working with God, and main worker is not us, but God himself.
So why anxious?

1Co 3:5-9
5 What, then, is A·pol′los? Yes, what is Paul? Ministers through whom YOU became believers, even as the Lord granted each one. 6 I planted, A·pol′los watered, but God kept making [it] grow; 7 so that neither is he that plants anything nor is he that waters, but God who makes [it] grow. 8 Now he that plants and he that waters are one, but each [person] will receive his own reward according to his own labor. 9 For we are God's fellow workers. YOU people are God's field under cultivation, God's building.

Eph 2:8-10
8 By this undeserved kindness, indeed, YOU have been saved through faith; and this not owing to YOU, it is God's gift. 9 No, it is not owing to works, in order that no man should have ground for boasting. 10 For we are a product of his work and were created in union with Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared in advance for us to walk in them.

Others also will be saved by means of God's mercy, just as we are, not by our own hustle and strife.

In our daily life, demonstrate the fruitage of the spirit, and if we have an opportunity to speak about the heavenly invitation, let people know the hope in the future from the scriptures.

1Pe 3:15
15 But sanctify the Christ as Lord in YOUR hearts, always ready to make a defense before everyone that demands of YOU a reason for the hope in YOU, but doing so together with a mild temper and deep respect.

The worldwide witnessing of the kingdom will be done along with the persecution.
When it happens, we will stand before the governors and the kings.
But the holy spirit will make convincing witness to the world.

Mr 13:9-13
9 "As for YOU, look out for yourselves; people will deliver YOU up to local courts, and YOU will be beaten in synagogues and be put on the stand before governors and kings for my sake, for a witness to them. 10 Also, in all the nations the good news has to be preached first. 11 But when they are leading YOU along to deliver YOU up, do not be anxious beforehand about what to speak; but whatever is given YOU in that hour, speak this, for YOU are not the ones speaking, but the holy spirit is.

Mt 10:32-33
32 "Everyone, then, that confesses union with me before men, I will also confess union with him before my Father who is in the heavens; 33 but whoever disowns me before men, I will also disown him before my Father who is in the heavens.

Lu 12:8-12
8 "I say, then, to YOU, Everyone that confesses union with me before men, the Son of man will also confess union with him before the angels of God. 9 But he that disowns me before men will be disowned before the angels of God. 10 And everyone that says a word against the Son of man, it will be forgiven him; but he that blasphemes against the holy spirit will not be forgiven it. 11 But when they bring YOU in before public assemblies and government officials and authorities, do not become anxious about how or what YOU will speak in defense or what YOU will say; 12 for the holy spirit will teach YOU in that very hour the things YOU ought to say."

Ro 12:11-12
11 Do not loiter at YOUR business. Be aglow with the spirit. Slave for Lord. 12 Rejoice in the hope.

I view the Internet as a very useful tool to dispense the truth.
Mass around the world can read the witness I make.
It is incredibly and incomparably better than door to door salesperson like ministry carried on by the Watchtower.

About Me

I became a Christian being baptized in 1972. Since then, I was a Jehovah's Witnesses for about 40 years.

When I was an elder, I was removed from the eldership of the congregation because I took a position that differed from the policy of the Watchtower Society.

Many years of life as a Jehovah's Witnesses I have experienced a discord between the style of worship of the Watch Tower Society and the teachings of Christ. So, using the Internet I began investigating the Watchtower Society from its beginning.
