Bible records about giants

The Bible says, "In that era, and also later there was a Nephilim (Giant) in the earth."

That era is the era of Enoch, the 7th generation from Adam.

By the time of the era of Enoch about 5000 years ago from now, Adam's children increased and became many, so there were many beautiful women in the ground. I think that the physical distortion from the human perfection was not so much noticeable in the early days of human history.

However, irrespective of the beauty of appearance and the robustness, the effects of sin became noticeable.

Satan, who drew Adam into sin, succeeded in pulling the heavenly children of God into sin.

Many heavenly sons of God materialized themselves and came down on earth for sexual intercourse with an attractive woman on the ground.

As a result, hybrid children between fallen angels and physical women were born, and these unnatural humanoid become giants.

The sexuality and the details of living of those giants are not written in the Bible.
Many things about giants in the pre-flood era are unknown.

However, the Bible tells us that they filled the earth with violence.

It was the times of Enoch, the seventh generation from Adam when those ungodly shocking events began to occur. Adam and Eve were still alive at that time, so Adam saw the miserable result of the sin he brought in.


Enoch walked with God and was threatened with murder because he preached the warning of judgment against the outlaws in the heavens and on the earth at that time.

So God took away the life of Enoch in 3096 BC when Adam died, to protect him from the brutal death by the evil spirits and violent giants.

At that time Adam was 930 years old, Enoch was 308 years old.

Over 1000 years, from the times of Enoch to the flood of Noah's days, the depraved spirits who descended from heaven seeking pleasure and the unnatural humanoid giants ruled the earth.

I think we can reason that meanwhile, the ruins of the megalithic civilization remaining around the world were built by giants.

The legends of giants remaining in various parts of the world such as Greek myth and the like, depict the world of the pre-flood era. Their story tells us that the demigods that is half God and half human ruled over the ground.

Genesis 6: 1-5
1 Now it came about that when men started to grow in numbers on the surface of the ground and daughters were born to them, 2 then the sons of the [true] God began to notice the daughters of men, that they were good-looking; and they went taking wives for themselves, namely, all whom they chose. 3 After that YHWH said: “My spirit shall not act toward man indefinitely in that he is also flesh. Then, how big were the giants?

Even in modern days, there are giants who are about 9.8ft (3m) tall.

In the Bible there is a record about the giants after Noah's flood. In the 14th century BCE, Anak, the children of Canaan are called Nephilim.

Numbers 13: 30-33
30 Then Ca′leb tried to still the people toward Moses and went on to say: “Let us go up directly, and we are bound to take possession of it, because we can surely prevail over it.” 31 But the men who went up with him said: “We are not able to go up against the people, because they are stronger than we are.” 32 And they kept on bringing forth to the sons of Israel a bad report of the land that they had spied out, saying: “The land, which we passed through to spy it out, is a land that eats up its inhabitants; and all the people whom we saw in the midst of it are men of extraordinary size. 33 And there we saw the Neph′i‧lim, the sons of A′nak, who are from the Neph′i‧lim; so that we became in our own eyes like grasshoppers, and the same way we became in their eyes.”

In the 14th century BCE, King Og of Bashan was a giant over 10ft (3m).

Deuteronomy 3:11
11 For only Og the king of Ba′shan remained of what was left of the Reph′a‧im. Look! His bier was a bier of iron. Is it not in Rab′bah of the sons of Am′mon? Nine cubits is its length (13.3ft, 4m), and four cubits its width, by the cubit of a man.

In the 10th century BCE, Goliath, the Philistines David defeated, was about 10ft (3m) giant.

1 Samuel 17: 4
4 And a champion began to go out from the camps of the Phi‧lis′tines, his name being Go‧li′ath, from Gath, his height being six cubits and a span (about 3 meters).

We do not know if these giants' clans are hybrids with spirit being.

Even human beings are born a giant beyond 3m, you can infer that Nephilim, a humanoid giant by fallen angels mentioned in Gen 6, was much larger than 4m.

Bones of giants unearthed around the world

Indeed, giant bones of over 10 meters have been excavated.

Thousands of newspapers in various countries have reported news of the discovery of the skeleton of the giant from the 1800's to the middle of the 1900's. Every time there was such an excavation, the Smithsonian Institute collected those evidences for the purpose of investigation then actually confiscated them without returning them to the site museum where the skeleton of the giant had been excavated.

So the skeleton of the giant will not be displayed at the local museum where the relics were excavated and people can not know the fact.
