ransom salvation

X f W T in

To whom should the ransom value be paid?

Who can forgive sins, restore human integrity, and cure genetic human body defects?

It is not Satan.

It is YHWH who created man according to his image.

So, to whom is it that the ransom price or value has to be paid?

Of course, to YHWH God.

Heb 9:11-14
11 However, when Christ came as a high priest of the good things that have come to pass, through the greater and more perfect tent not made with hands, that is, not of this creation, 12 he entered, no, not with the blood of goats and of young bulls, but with his own blood, once for all time into the holy place and obtained an everlasting deliverance [for us]. 13 For if the blood of goats and of bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who have been defiled sanctifies to the extent of cleanness of the flesh, 14 how much more will the blood of the Christ, who through an everlasting spirit offered himself without blemish to God, cleanse our consciences from dead works that we may render sacred service to [the] living God?

Satan has nothing to do with the ransom at all.
He is a criminal who killed human family.
He is totally unworthy to receive ransom value.
Rather he will be judged and destroyed by the value of the ransom.

Adam sold his offspring to the sin not to Satan.
Satan hijacked human family by lie.
So Adam didn't receive any benefit or interest from Satan.
Satan is the father of the lie, he kidnapped human family and put it under his control by deception, or swindle.

In order to liberate the human family from his control, his lies have to be established so as to execute adverse judgment upon him.

One act of justification of man provided by Jesus, a perfect man equal to Adam proved that YHWH's righteousness and man's integrity and Satan's lie. Such a value of the ransom was too high for any imperfect human to provide.
And the value of the ransom was to pay to YHWH who have authority to forgive sin and judge everything justly and is able to save and to destroy.

Ps 49:7-8
7 Not one of them can by any means redeem even a brother, Nor give to God a ransom for him; 8 (And the redemption price of their soul is so precious That it has ceased to time indefinite)

Job 33:24-25
24 Then he favors him and says, 'Let him off from going down into the pit! I have found a ransom! 25 Let his flesh become fresher than in youth; Let him return to the days of his youthful vigor.'

Jas 4:12
12 One there is that is lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy.

Things proven by the ransom of Christ

God is not responsible for Adam's failure.

It was Adam himself that was responsible for his own decision and action.
Adam misused his free will.
He could have avoided committing sin against God, if he so wishes, as Jesus did.

Jesus' ransom proved YHWH's righteousness.
Perfect man can be faithful to the point of sinless death.
Adam's offspring who inherited sin can do the same as Jesus did if they were given the sinless body as Jesus and Adam had. It is because of sin inherited that they can't do so at present.

So Jesus' ransom condemned sin inherited as the true cause of disobedience on the part of Adam's offspring.
If the sin were removed from them, they could demonstrate perfect obedience like Jesus did.
So the Jesus' ransom, which is one act of justification of human integrity provided a legal ground for taking away sin inherited.

Ro 8:3
3 For, there being an incapability on the part of the Law, while it was weak through the flesh, God, by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and concerning sin, condemned sin in the flesh,

Ro 7:16-17
16 However, if what I do not wish is what I do, I agree that the Law is fine. 17 But now the one working it out is no longer I, but sin that resides in me.

Ro 5:18-19
18 So, then, as through one trespass the result to men of all sorts was condemnation, likewise also through one act of justification the result to men of all sorts is a declaring of them righteous for life. 19 For just as through the disobedience of the one man many were constituted sinners, likewise also through the obedience of the one [person] many will be constituted righteous.

In this manner, Jesus' ransom exalted the value of human family.

Satan's accusation was baseless lie.

Jesus' sinless death proved Satan's lie and judged him as a murderer. By means of the ransom provided Jesus' sinless death Satan's execution was finalized.

Satan sowed lies, and he reaps the condemnation and execution for horrible harm brought upon Adam's family.

■ Satan lied about human integrity, insisting that men act for own benefit, so he can turn them away from obeying God with temptations and threats.

Job 2:4
4 But Satan answered YHWH and said: "Skin in behalf of skin, and everything that a man has he will give in behalf of his soul.

■ Satan was not able to cause Jesus to disobey God with temptations and torturous death. He was defeated by Jesus' sinless death on the pole.

1Pe 2:22-23
22 He (Christ Jesus) committed no sin, nor was deception found in his mouth. 23 When he was being reviled, he did not go reviling in return. When he was suffering, he did not go threatening, but kept on committing himself to the one who judges righteously.

Joh 10:17-18
17 This is why the Father loves me, because I surrender my soul, in order that I may receive it again. 18 No man has taken it away from me, but I surrender it of my own initiative. I have authority to surrender it, and I have authority to receive it again. The commandment on this I received from my Father."

Joh 8:44
44 YOU are from YOUR father the Devil, and YOU wish to do the desires of YOUR father. That one was a manslayer when he began, and he did not stand fast in the truth, because truth is not in him. When he speaks the lie, he speaks according to his own disposition, because he is a liar and the father of [the lie].

Joh 14:30
30 . . . for the ruler of the world is coming. And he has no hold on me,

Jon 12:31
31 Now there is a judging of this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out.

Lu 10:18
18 At that he said to them: "I began to behold Satan already fallen like lightning from heaven.

Joh 16:33
33 I have said these things to YOU that by means of me YOU may have peace. In the world YOU are having tribulation, but take courage! I have conquered the world."

Heb 2:14-15
14 Therefore, since the "young children" are sharers of blood and flesh, he also similarly partook of the same things, that through his death he might bring to nothing the one having the means to cause death, that is, the Devil; 15 and [that] he might emancipate all those who for fear of death were subject to slavery all through their lives.

1Jon 8:3
8 He who carries on sin originates with the Devil, because the Devil has been sinning from [the] beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was made manifest, namely, to break up the works of the Devil.

As shown above, Jesus' ransom condemned Satan as a manslayer and a liar. And it also raised the value of Adam's family highest possible as potential integrity holders.

When Jesus paid the value of his ransom to YHWH God, God accepted it.
Jesus submitted the ground for forgiveness of sin and for judgment against all disobedience to YHWH who can save and destroy.

All who are exercising faith in Jesus' ransom will be saved, on the other hand Satan, demons and all who disobey God will be destroyed.

This is what Jesus' ransom value accomplished.
The resurrection of Jesus is a guarantee of judgment against all disobedience.

We, the sons of the kingdom have been preaching this kingdom message since the time Jesus conquered the world.

Ac 17:30-31
30 True, God has overlooked the times of such ignorance, yet now he is telling mankind that they should all everywhere repent. 31 Because he has set a day in which he purposes to judge the inhabited earth in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed, and he has furnished a guarantee to all men in that he has resurrected him from the dead."

So, whoever can understand the ransom, Preach the true Gospel.

About Me

I became a Christian being baptized in 1972. Since then, I was a Jehovah's Witnesses for about 40 years.

When I was an elder, I was removed from the eldership of the congregation because I took a position that differed from the policy of the Watchtower Society.

Many years of life as a Jehovah's Witnesses I have experienced a discord between the style of worship of the Watch Tower Society and the teachings of Christ. So, using the Internet I began investigating the Watchtower Society from its beginning.
