JW last days WT society

Hi, all
I'm writing about a swindle with "day and hour nobody knows."

what nobody knows

Christ told his disciples to keep on the watch for his return.

Why?

Because they don't know when.

Mt 24:36
36 "Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father.

Unknowing the time means having no idea if it's coming early or late.

Mr 13:32-37
32 "Concerning that day or the hour nobody knows, neither the angels in heaven nor the Son, but the Father. 33 Keep looking, keep awake, for YOU do not know when the appointed time is. 34 It is like a man traveling abroad that left his house and gave the authority to his slaves, to each one his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to keep on the watch. 35 Therefore keep on the watch, for YOU do not know when the master of the house is coming, whether late in the day or at midnight or at cockcrowing or early in the morning; 36 in order that when he arrives suddenly, he does not find YOU sleeping. 37 But what I say to YOU I say to all, Keep on the watch."

If you don't know coming early or late, which side are you going to assume, early side or late one?

Watchtower is a con artist

The WTS instigates people on the assumption of coming early.
Setting a particular year, they suggests a lifestyle to get by until that year.
For example, 1874, 1914, 1925, 1940, 1975.
Having being saying "the end is around the corner" in connection with respective year shown above, from 100 years ago, they commend a reckless lifestyle which doesn't care about enough education for the living in this world nor the preparing for one's old age.
They also regard those who have long-term design of living as an indication of lacking of faith or being lukewarm.

As the result, quit a number of JW are somehow managing an unstable living.

Longing for the end of evil within one's life time is understandable, but it is going to far if he is trying to know what is said "nobody can know," or if he omits his responsibility for his future living in this system, or if he pushes his view to others, or worse yet, judges others by his assumption.

Unfortunately, the WTS has been doing all these presumptuous things.
The Watchtower drives JW to act upon their interpretation of time, despite nobody knows the time.

As a matter of fact, the WTS is a swindler, and JW is a sitting duck.

The Case of Jesus' Disciples

Jesus' disciples also imagined that the kingdom would come soon.
So, Jesus needed to correct their short-sighted view which drives them to act on the assumption of the nearness of unknown appointed time.

Lu 19:11-27
11 While they were listening to these things he spoke in addition an illustration, because he was near Jerusalem and they were imagining that the kingdom of God was going to display itself instantly. 12 Therefore he said: "A certain man of noble birth traveled to a distant land to secure kingly power for himself and to return. 13 Calling ten slaves of his he gave them ten mi′nas and told them, 'Do business till I come.' 14 But his citizens hated him and sent out a body of ambassadors after him, to say, 'We do not want this [man] to become king over us.'

15 "Eventually when he got back after having secured the kingly power, he commanded to be called to him these slaves to whom he had given the silver money, in order to ascertain what they had gained by business activity. 16 Then the first one presented himself, saying, 'Lord, your mi′na gained ten mi′nas.' 17 So he said to him, 'Well done, good slave! Because in a very small matter you have proved yourself faithful, hold authority over ten cities.' 18 Now the second came, saying, 'Your mi′na, Lord, made five mi′nas.' 19 He said to this one also, 'You, too, be in charge of five cities.' 20 But a different one came, saying, 'Lord, here is your mi′na, that I kept laid away in a cloth. 21 You see, I was in fear of you, because you are a harsh man; you take up what you did not deposit and you reap what you did not sow.' 22 He said to him, 'Out of your own mouth I judge you, wicked slave. You knew, did you, that I am a harsh man, taking up what I did not deposit and reaping what I did not sow? 23 Hence why is it you did not put my silver money in a bank? Then on my arrival I would have collected it with interest.'

24 "With that he said to those standing by, 'Take the mi′na from him and give it to him that has the ten mi′nas.' 25 But they said to him, 'Lord, he has ten mi′nas!'- 26 'I say to YOU, To everyone that has, more will be given; but from the one that does not have, even what he has will be taken away. 27 Moreover, these enemies of mine that did not want me to become king over them BRING here and slaughter them before me.'"

Here, things we can note is as follows.
It takes a long time until the master comes back.
Until that time, the slaves are expected to keep working with the entrusted minas.
By so doing, they can prove their love and respect for their master.
The period waiting for the master could be their lifetime long.

The duration of waiting is not the issue, as everybody admits.

The bad thing about WTS is that it has not taught the importance of building a Christian life that can be afforded by a long-term life plan, and worse, it sometimes criticizes those who express such a long-term vision as having "weak faith" or "weak spirituality" and, even worse, systematically sanctions such people.

They exclude different view, and place a peer pressure upon JW to make them sacrifice everything to work as recruitment pioneers.

They overstep the biblical boundary that no one can make a rule for others with regard to what is not in the Bible.

And the day and hour of Christ's return is not in the Bible.
Nobody knows when.

So, nobody can make a rule for others, nor can judge others by the rule based on mere assumption of men.

the parables of the ten virgins

We can view the illustration of ten virgins from the same perspective.

The five were foolish, whereas the five were discreet.

The foolish ones omitted an enough preparation assuming the bridegroom comes early.
On the other hand, the discreet ones made enough preparation assuming the bridegroom comes late.

The groom arrived late, and those who were ready at that late hour entered the reception room with him.

Having no knowledge of the hour nobody can push one's view to others, nor can judge others by one's assumption. If you dare to do so, it is a presumptuous act.

These are what the WTS is doing.

They presumptuously announced 1914, 1925, 1940, 1975 as something significant with regard to Christ's return. Then each time, they drove others to work hard for the end of the world, and put religious sanction upon those who view the matter differently.

So it is really useless to be affected by such a presumptuousness, even though the governing body of the WTS speaks "the end is very close," based on the time and hour that they themselves don't know.

The WTS won't take the responsibility or accountability for what they are pronouncing.
They are an international swindler like governments in the world.

Mt 25:1-13
1 "Then the kingdom of the heavens will become like ten virgins that took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish, and five were discreet. 3 For the foolish took their lamps but took no oil with them, 4 whereas the discreet took oil in their receptacles with their lamps. 5 While the bridegroom was delaying, they all nodded and went to sleep. 6 Right in the middle of the night there arose a cry, 'Here is the bridegroom! Be on YOUR way out to meet him.' 7 Then all those virgins rose and put their lamps in order. 8 The foolish said to the discreet, 'Give us some of YOUR oil, because our lamps are about to go out.' 9 The discreet answered with the words, 'Perhaps there may not be quite enough for us and YOU. Be on YOUR way, instead, to those who sell it and buy for yourselves.' 10 While they were going off to buy, the bridegroom arrived, and the virgins that were ready went in with him to the marriage feast; and the door was shut. 11 Afterwards the rest of the virgins also came, saying, 'Sir, sir, open to us!' 12 In answer he said, 'I tell YOU the truth, I do not know YOU.'
13 "Keep on the watch, therefore, because YOU know neither the day nor the hour.

"Keep on the watch" means doing so for one's whole life, not until a certain year based on the assumption.

Live with your whole life as a happy Christian awaiting the Lord's return.

Keeping close in mind the coming of the day of Lord doesn't mean to live with a particular year in mind, nor to be easily excited about an idea of prophetic chronology.

It is rather to live a whole life as a Christian keeping close in mind the Lord's return so as to be ready any time.

The WTS has been promoting a short-sighted living by their speculation of what nobody can know.
Then JW are driven to do the pioneering with lacking a balance.

This is not the lifestyle of Christian.

Due to the precarious living with short-sighted view, quite a few JW worry about their declining years.
The second generation of JW are also victimized by their parents' unstable living.

The WTS is responsible for the anxiety among JW.
They are a false prophet, a great swindler, never a vessel of God in any sense from its start.

What the Bible really teaches is the following reasonable lifestyle.

1Th 4:11-12
11 and to make it YOUR aim to live quietly and to mind YOUR own business and work with YOUR hands, just as we ordered YOU; 12 so that YOU may be walking decently as regards people outside and not be needing anything.

About Me

I became a Christian being baptized in 1972. Since then, I was a Jehovah's Witnesses for about 40 years.

When I was an elder, I was removed from the eldership of the congregation because I took a position that differed from the policy of the Watchtower Society.

Many years of life as a Jehovah's Witnesses I have experienced a discord between the style of worship of the Watch Tower Society and the teachings of Christ. So, using the Internet I began investigating the Watchtower Society from its beginning.
