On walking by faith and not by what is seen

Christians walk by faith not by sight. They do not have a visible temple on earth, because they themselves are the temple. They have been delivered from Satan's world system and transferred into Christ's kingdom. Therefore, they are no part of this world.

2Co 5:7
7 for we are walking by faith, not by sight.

1Co 3:16-17
16 Do YOU not know that YOU people are God's temple, and that the spirit of God dwells in YOU? 17 If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him; for the temple of God is holy, which [temple] YOU people are.

Eph 2:19-22
19 Certainly, therefore, YOU are no longer strangers and alien residents, but YOU are fellow citizens of the holy ones and are members of the household of God, 20 and YOU have been built up upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, while Christ Jesus himself is the foundation cornerstone. 21 In union with him the whole building, being harmoniously joined together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord. 22 In union with him YOU, too, are being built up together into a place for God to inhabit by spirit.

Col 1:13
13 He delivered us from the authority of the darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of his love,

Jon 17:16
16 They are no part of the world, just as I am no part of the world.

Jon 18:36
36 Jesus answered: "My kingdom is no part of this world. If my kingdom were part of this world, my attendants would have fought that I should not be delivered up to the Jews. But, as it is, my kingdom is not from this source."

The kingdom of Christ is no part of the world. Christ's kingdom is the heavenly authority for the sons of the kingdom. It is not an artificial, visible, earthly, centralized religious authority.

The capital of the Kingdom of Heaven cannot be represented by the world headquarters of a religious organization on earth. Its capital is in heaven, and Christians are citizens of that heavenly capital.

There is no physical arrangement between the sons of the kingdom and heaven. The sons of the Kingdom are expected to have the faith and spiritual sight to see invisible reality.

All the sons of the Kingdom are directly connected to Heaven. It is their faith that allows them to see those invisible arrangements. Therefore, the kingdom of Christ cannot be found in any earthly arrangement.

No earthly religious organization can claim to represent the Kingdom of Heaven. The Watchtower society has nothing to do with the Kingdom of Christ, despite their dogmatic claim that they are. Nor are Jehovah's Witnesses sons of the kingdom. They too, like other church organizations in the Christian world, are a counterfeit kingdom of Christ.

Satan has lured religious-minded people into a false kingdom, an earthly arrangement.

Php 3:19-20
19 and their finish is destruction, and their god is their belly, and their glory consists in their shame, and they have their minds upon things on the earth. 20 As for us, our citizenship exists in the heavens, from which place also we are eagerly waiting for a savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,

Ro 8:5
5 For those who are in accord with the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those in accord with the spirit on the things of the spirit.

Col 3:1-2
1 If, however, YOU were raised up with the Christ, go on seeking the things above, where the Christ is seated at the right hand of God. 2 Keep YOUR minds fixed on the things above, not on the things upon the earth.

Heb 12:18-24
18 For YOU have not approached that which can be felt and which has been set aflame with fire, and a dark cloud and thick darkness and a tempest, 19 and the blare of a trumpet and the voice of words; on hearing which voice the people implored that no word should be added to them. 20 For the command was not bearable to them: "And if a beast touches the mountain, it must be stoned." 21 Also, the display was so fearsome that Moses said: "I am fearful and trembling." 22 But YOU have approached a Mount Zion and a city of [the] living God, heavenly Jerusalem, and myriads of angels, 23 in general assembly, and the congregation of the firstborn who have been enrolled in the heavens, and God the Judge of all, and the spiritual lives of righteous ones who have been made perfect, 24 and Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and the blood of sprinkling, which speaks in a better way than Abel's [blood].

Can you see these invisible reality?
In other words, do you understand them? Do you believe in them?
If you can, that's very good.

This heavenly kingdom has existed since Christ's resurrection and return to heaven after conquering Satan through His sinless sacrificial death.

Since that time, throughout history, Christ has been guiding and protecting the sons of the Kingdom on earth. The sons of the kingdom in every age can understand this spiritual arrangement. Even though they do not have visible and impressive temples, buildings, or visible organizational structures on earth, the sons of the kingdom can see the arrangements of the kingdom of heaven by faith, just as Moses did when he saw and acted on the unseen reality. They look to the unseen kingdom of heaven for guidance, instruction, and protection. Therefore, they do not look to earthly arrangements for the Christian way of life. They are foreign residents in Satan's world. They are tent-dwellers like Abraham, the father of those who have faith in YHWH.

Heb 11:27
27 By faith he (Moses) left Egypt, but not fearing the anger of the king, for he continued steadfast as seeing the One who is invisible.

Faith as shown by Abraham

Ro 4:9-12
9 Does this happiness, then, come upon circumcised people or also upon uncircumcised people? For we say: "His faith was counted to Abraham as righteousness." 10 Under what circumstances, then, was it counted? When he was in circumcision or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision. 11 And he received a sign, namely, circumcision, as a seal of the righteousness by the faith he had while in his uncircumcised state, that he might be the father of all those having faith while in uncircumcision, in order for righteousness to be counted to them; 12 and a father of circumcised offspring, not only to those who adhere to circumcision, but also to those who walk orderly in the footsteps of that faith while in the uncircumcised state which our father Abraham had.

Heb 11:8-9, 13-16
8 By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed in going out into a place he was destined to receive as an inheritance; and he went out, although not knowing where he was going. 9 By faith he resided as an alien in the land of the promise as in a foreign land, and dwelt in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the very same promise.

13 In faith all these died, although they did not get the [fulfillment of the] promises, but they saw them afar off and welcomed them and publicly declared that they were strangers and temporary residents in the land. 14 For those who say such things give evidence that they are earnestly seeking a place of their own. 15 And yet, if they had indeed kept remembering that [place] from which they had gone forth, they would have had opportunity to return. 16 But now they are reaching out for a better [place], that is, one belonging to heaven. Hence God is not ashamed of them, to be called upon as their God, for he has made a city ready for them.

Just as Abraham did not know what the promised land is like, so the sons of the kingdom also don't know what their promised heavenly place is like. But they set their mind on the heavenly hope.

Jesus Christ, the primary seed of Abraham, also operated on earth as a foreign resident.

Mt 8:20
20 But Jesus said to him: "Foxes have dens and birds of heaven have roosts, but the Son of man has nowhere to lay down his head."

The sons of the kingdom will follow the footsteps left by their Lord who came from heaven.

Christ's guidance and protection

Having conquered the Satant's world by his sinless death and returned to heaven, Christ has been guiding and protecting the sons of the kingdom from heaven ever since.

Mt 28:20
20 . . . And, look! I am with YOU all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.”

In the Book of Revelation, Christ says of the condition of all the sons of the kingdom, "I know your deeds." And according to the each situation, lessons and corrections have been given in Revelation chapter 2-3. This teaches that the sons of the kingdom at all times and in all places are under the rule of Christ.

The sons of the kingdom are the true seed of Abraham, just like Christ.
They also have faith like Abraham.
They too have the spiritual sight to see the unseen.
They are not dependent on visible arrangements.
They are foreign residents in the world.


Like Abraham and Jesus, the sons of the kingdom are foreign residents with no discernible organization or building in the world. They can only be distinguished by their Christ-like love for one another and their witness to the truth.

The sons of the kingdom know that the old things have already passed away and new things exist. God used to use earthly organizations, but no longer use such earthly shadow. Earthly arrangements for worship have become obsolete and abolished due to the realization of invisible heavenly reality. Heavenly arrangements have replaced earthly arrangements. Since the heavenly kingdom of Christ has come into being, the sons of the kingdom have been transferred from earthly shdow to heavenly reality. We are now under a heavenly arrangement.

Col 2:16-17
16 Therefore let no man judge YOU in eating and drinking or in respect of a festival or of an observance of the new moon or of a sabbath; 17 for those things are a shadow of the things to come, but the reality belongs to the Christ.

Heb 8:13
13 In his saying “a new [covenant]” he has made the former one obsolete. Now that which is made obsolete and growing old is near to vanishing away.

Mt 23:38
38 Look! YOUR house is abandoned to YOU.

God's former style of visible national worship of the Jewish age ended when Christ fulfilled the Law and removed it. Since that time, God has not had an earthly organization. This is because He no longer had to use an outdated system that is easily hijacked by Satan. Christ is able to lead and protect the sons of the kingdom on earth directly from heaven, so Satan cannot take over the congregation of the sons of the kingdom. The only thing Satan can do is create a false kingdom of Christ and deceive people. He cannot bring the sons of the kingdom belonging to Christ under his control. So he fights and kills the sons of the kingdom, but like Christ, the sons of the kingdom conquer Satan by their loyal death.

Joh 16:33
33 I have said these things to YOU that by means of me YOU may have peace. In the world YOU are having tribulation, but take courage! I have conquered the world.”

Lu 12:4-7
4 Moreover, I say to YOU, my friends, Do not fear those who kill the body and after this are not able to do anything more. 5 But I will indicate to YOU whom to fear: Fear him who after killing has authority to throw into Ge‧hen′na. Yes, I tell YOU, fear this One. 6 Five sparrows sell for two coins of small value, do they not? Yet not one of them goes forgotten before God. 7 But even the hairs of YOUR heads are all numbered. Have no fear; YOU are worth more than many sparrows.

Re 2:10-11
10 Do not be afraid of the things you are about to suffer. Look! The Devil will keep on throwing some of YOU into prison that YOU may be fully put to the test, and that YOU may have tribulation ten days. Prove yourself faithful even to death, and I will give you the crown of life. 11 Let the one who has an ear hear what the spirit says to the congregations: He that conquers will by no means be harmed by the second death.’

Re 12:11
11 And they (the sons of the kingdom) conquered him (Satan) because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their witnessing, and they did not love their souls even in the face of death.

Changes brought about by Christ in the first century AD

Joh 4:21-24
21 Jesus said to her: “Believe me, woman, The hour is coming when neither in this mountain nor in Jerusalem will YOU people worship the Father. 22 YOU worship what YOU do not know; we worship what we know, because salvation originates with the Jews. 23 Nevertheless, the hour is coming, and it is now, when the true worshipers will worship the Father with spirit and truth, for, indeed, the Father is looking for suchlike ones to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit, and those worshiping him must worship with spirit and truth.”

The time when true worshipers worship God not in the Jewish synagogues, churches, temples, shrines, mosques, Kingdom Hall, on any mountain, began in the first century when Jesus began His Kingdom ministry on earth.

Nevertheless, even Christ's disciples initially expected the earthly arrangements to which they had become accustomed. They thought that Christ's kingdom would be restored to earthly Israel.

Ac 1:6
6 When, now, they had assembled, they went asking him: “Lord, are you restoring the kingdom to Israel at this time?”

But in the new arrangement or system, that is the reality, the flesh (gender or race), place, or building that belong to the shadow has no meaning.

2Co 5:16-17
16 Consequently from now on we know no man according to the flesh. Even if we have known Christ according to the flesh, certainly we now know him so no more. 17 Consequently if anyone is in union with Christ, he is a new creation; the old things passed away, look! new things have come into existence.

Jon 4:21
21 Jesus said to her: “Believe me, woman, The hour is coming when neither in this mountain nor in Jerusalem will YOU people worship the Father.

Ga 3:26-29
26 YOU are all, in fact, sons of God through YOUR faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For all of YOU who were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor freeman, there is neither male nor female; for YOU are all one [person] in union with Christ Jesus. 29 Moreover, if YOU belong to Christ, YOU are really Abraham’s seed, heirs with reference to a promise.

The sons of the Kingdom are outside of organized religion on earth.
They are guided and protected directly by Christ from heaven.
The sons of the kingdom have a spiritual comprehensions that is not controlled by earthly arrangements.
They are slaves of Christ with Christian freedom, and they belong to God.
They are guided only by heavenly arrangements.
They follow the voice of Christ, the Lord, no matter what happens.
Only the Bible determines how they will live.


Jon 10:14, 16, 27
14 I am the fine shepherd, and I know my sheep and my sheep know me,
16 “And I have other sheep, which are not of this fold; those also I must bring, and they will listen to my voice, and they will become one flock, one shepherd.
27 My sheep listen to my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.

Re 14:4-5
4 These are the ones that did not defile themselves with women; in fact, they are virgins. These are the ones that keep following the Lamb no matter where he goes. These were bought from among mankind as firstfruits to God and to the Lamb, 5 and no falsehood was found in their mouths; they are without blemish.

Jas 1:1
1 James, a slave of God and of [the] Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes that are scattered about:

2Ti 2:19
19 For all that, the solid foundation of God stays standing, having this seal: “Lord knows those who belong to him,”

Ga 6:15-16
15 For neither is circumcision anything nor is uncircumcision, but a new creation [is something]. 16 And all those who will walk orderly by this rule of conduct, upon them be peace and mercy, even upon the Israel of God.
(Christians are the Israel of God, the seed of Abraham, the temple of God, the new creation.)

The new creation is discerned not by flesh (gender, race), nor by social structures such as religious organization, but only by the behavioral standards based on Christ's teachings. Our standards of behavior are rooted in the teachings of Christ in the Bible. And the sons of the kingdom can identify other sons of the kingdom who walk by the same standards of behavior.

Jon 8:31-32
31 And so Jesus went on to say to the Jews that had believed him: “If YOU remain in my word, YOU are really my disciples, 32 and YOU will know the truth, and the truth will set YOU free.”

2Ti 3:15-16
15 and that from infancy you have known the holy writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through the faith in connection with Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness,

To walk by faith means to live as a disciple of Christ with the Bible as our guide. It is not about becoming a follower of an organized religion.
