sin and death

When Adam and Eve departed from their source of life and happiness and trampled down their life and happiness, the God of love and justice brought them to death.

It can be said that it is an expression of God's love.
Because sin works in the direction of harming everything, including those with it.
Without God's intervention, Adam's family would not have survived until today.

Sinners would have taken the path of self-destruction, causing many people and creatures, including themselves, to suffer and die out.

God knows the horrifying effects of selfishness and sin better than anyone.

It is an extremely unwise and unloving to give the gift of long-lasting life to the fallen sinners those who harm themselves and others.

Therefore, a person who falls into sin and is not worthy of the gift of life will return to earth to end his bad influence.

Death is not painful, it is only the end of existence for removing harmful factors.

Here, the surprising thing is that the God of love and justice did not abandon Adam's family.

Hope of salvation by the promised seed

God allowed Adam and Eve to establish a family.
Why.
Because he was going to save Adam's family.
It was due to the mercy of God's side.

Immediately after Adam and Eve sinned, God proclaimed the promise of salvation by the woman's seed.

Ge 3:15
15 And I shall put enmity between you and the woman and between your seed and her seed. He will bruise you in the head and you will bruise him in the heel."

The promise of this "woman's seed" turned to be Jesus Christ, and his redemption made it possible for Adam's family to be redeemed and to receive forgiveness of sins and restoration of life.

Because of this provision of salvation, God allowed Adam's family to be born in sin.

To be born in sin is to experience the futility that harms self and others.
The reason why God let us to be born in sin is because we have been given the hope of forgiveness of sins and restoration of life.

It is God himself who gave the hope, and God made the greatest sacrifice in preparing it.

Ro 8:19-21
19 For the eager expectation of the creation is waiting for the revealing of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not by its own will but through him that subjected it, on the basis of hope 21 that the creation itself also will be set free from enslavement to corruption and have the glorious freedom of the children of God.

So Adam's family was allowed to exist in spite of not being worthy of life, the hope was given to us, and we are permitted to return to dust enjoying a short 80-year life.

Most of Adam's offspring will come back to life, including the wicked sinners executed by God.
God is not happy to kill.
On the contrary, he delights to forgive sin and restore life.

So, the lack of faith in God and the ignorance of God's loving arrangement are the causes for failing to grasp facts and cursing God.

Heb 9:27-28
27 And as it is reserved for men to die once for all time, but after this a judgment, 28 so also the Christ was offered once for all time to bear the sins of many; and the second time that he appears it will be apart from sin and to those earnestly looking for him for [their] salvation.

Ac 24:15
15 and I have hope toward God, which hope these [men] themselves also entertain, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.

Re 21:3-5
3 With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: "Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."

5 And the One seated on the throne said: "Look! I am making all things new." Also, he says: "Write, because these words are faithful and true."

Finally, all repentant sinners, including Adam and Eve, will restore the blessings of life as the children of God.

About Me

I became a Christian being baptized in 1972. Since then, I was a Jehovah's Witnesses for about 40 years.

When I was an elder, I was removed from the eldership of the congregation because I took a position that differed from the policy of the Watchtower Society.

Many years of life as a Jehovah's Witnesses I have experienced a discord between the style of worship of the Watch Tower Society and the teachings of Christ. So, using the Internet I began investigating the Watchtower Society from its beginning.
