Re chap. 19-20
From the end of the great tribulation (the end of the Babylon the Great and the battle of Armageddon) to the Christ's 1,000 year reign.

We have enjoyed the contents of Revelation from chap. 5 to chap. 18.

It reveals that the judgment of the Babylon the Great is not at the beginning of the great tribulation, but at the end of the great tribulation.

Events that will take place during the Great Tribulation

Hurling Satan down from heaven to the earth (Re 12:9)

Woe for the earth (Re 12:12)
It means the great tribulation such as has not occurred since the wold's beginning until now. (Mt 24:21)
A great war, a great famine, a great plague kill a fourth population of the world. (Re 6:3-8)

The 7th head of the wild beast gets death-stroke by the great war. (Re 13:3)
It revived as if acceding from the abyss.
It performs a great sign to impress people to make an image of the wild beast whose death-stroke got healed, and promotes wild beast worship. (Re 13:11-15)
Stan's wold's ruling structure changes to the one world government by consolidating regional authorities into one global authority. (Re 17:12-13)
People admiringly receive the name of the wild beast and number of its name as the worshiper of the wild beast. (Re 16-17)
Here is where it means the endurance and faith of the holy ones. (Re 14:9-12)

The two witnesses prophesy for a 1260 days (42 months, 3.5 years) (Re 11:3)
After they have finished their witnessing, the 7th head of the wild beast which is also the 8th king because of the revival from the death-stroke makes war with them (the two witnesses, remaining sons of the kingdom) and conquer them and kill them. (Re 11:7, 17:14)

And the world rejoices in that.
It is likely the time of declaration of "Peas and Security" at last in the Satan's mono-world.

Re 11:7-10
7 And when they have finished their witnessing, the wild beast that ascends out of the abyss will make war with them and conquer them and kill them. 8 And their corpses will be on the broad way of the great city which is in a spiritual sense called Sod'om and Egypt, where their Lord was also impaled. 9 And those of the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations will look at their corpses for three and a half (3.5) days, and they do not let their corpses be laid in a tomb. 10 And those dwelling on the earth rejoice over them and enjoy themselves, and they will send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those dwelling on the earth.

1Th 5:2-3
2 For YOU yourselves know quite well that Lord's day is coming exactly as a thief in the night. 3 Whenever it is that they are saying: "Peace and security!" then sudden destruction is to be instantly upon them just as the pang of distress upon a pregnant woman; and they will by no means escape.

On the resurrection of the two witnesses, a great earthquake causes a tenth of the city fell down and gets 7,000 killed and the rest became frightened and gave glory to the God of heaven. (Re 11:11-13)

Re 16:17--19
17 And the seventh one poured out his bowl upon the air. At this a loud voice issued out of the sanctuary from the throne, saying: "It has come to pass!" 18 And lightnings and voices and thunders occurred, and a great earthquake occurred such as had not occurred since men came to be on the earth, so extensive an earthquake, so great. 19 And the great city split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell; and Babylon the Great was remembered in the sight of God, to give her the cup of the wine of the anger of his wrath.

The Babylon the Great is destroyed by the united mono-world government. (Re 17:15-18)

Then what next?

The Judgment upon the Babylon the Great (Re chap. 19)

HaleluYah calling are heard for the end of the great harlot the Babylon the Great.
The sons of the kingdom may join HaleluYah calling in heaven being gathered into heaven at the end of the great tribulation. If so, on the Christ's return, the judgment upon the Babylon the Great would begin, then right after that event the war of Armageddon would follow. This reasoning seems to fit in with the fact that Christ is to return to judge the Satan's world.

Then next comes the announcement of the marriage of the lamb.

Re 19:1-8
1 After these things I heard what was as a loud voice of a great crowd in heaven. They said: "Praise Yah (HaleluYah), YOU people! The salvation and the glory and the power belong to our God, 2 because his judgments are true and righteous. For he has executed judgment upon the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication, and he has avenged the blood of his slaves at her hand." 3 And right away for the second time they said: "Praise Yah, (HaleluYah) YOU people! And the smoke from her goes on ascending forever and ever."

4 And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God seated upon the throne, and said: "Amen! Praise Yah (HaleluYah), YOU people!"

5 Also, a voice issued forth from the throne and said: "Be praising our God, all YOU his slaves, who fear him, the small ones and the great."

6 And I heard what was as a voice of a great crowd and as a sound of many waters and as a sound of heavy thunders. They said: "Praise Yah (HaleluYah), YOU people, because YHWH our God, the Almighty, has begun to rule as king. 7 Let us rejoice and be overjoyed, and let us give him the glory, because the marriage of the Lamb has arrived and his wife has prepared herself. 8 Yes, it has been granted to her to be arrayed in bright, clean, fine linen, for the fine linen stands for the righteous acts of the holy ones."

Satan completely fails to subvert the new covenant.
The new covenant produces the full number of the sons of the kingdom the bride class of the Lamb.
They are the ones who conquered Satan, the accuser, because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their witnessing, and they did not love their souls even in the face of death. (Re 12:11)

The war at the Armageddon

Before the marriage of the Lamb, the rest of the world of Satan, the wild beast, will be removed in the battle of Armageddon (Har-Ma・ged'on in Hebrew ).

Re 19:11-16
11 And I saw the heaven opened, and, look! a white horse. And the one seated upon it is called Faithful and True, and he judges and carries on war in righteousness. 12 His eyes are a fiery flame, and upon his head are many diadems. He has a name written that no one knows but he himself, 13 and he is arrayed with an outer garment sprinkled with blood, and the name he is called is The Word of God. 14 Also, the armies that were in heaven were following him on white horses, and they were clothed in white, clean, fine linen. 15 And out of his mouth there protrudes a sharp long sword, that he may strike the nations with it, and he will shepherd them with a rod of iron. He treads too the winepress of the anger of the wrath of God the Almighty. 16 And upon his outer garment, even upon his thigh, he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords.

The three names
1 a name written that no one knows but he himself
2 the name he is called is The Word of God
3 a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords

All the sons of the kingdom also was given a white pebble, and upon the pebble a new name written which no one knows except the one receiving it.' (Re 2:17)

It indicates that all the sons of the kingdom would have all set in heaven at the battle of Armageddon following the King of kings and Lord of lords along with mighty angelic army to end the great tribulation and the Satan's system of things.

Re 2:26
26 And to him that conquers and observes my deeds down to the end I will give authority over the nations, 27 and he shall shepherd the people with an iron rod so that they will be broken to pieces like clay vessels, the same as I have received from my Father,

Because of that, the great tribulation brought about by the raged Satan is cut short on account of the holy ones.

Mt 24:22
22 In fact, unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved; but on account of the chosen ones those days will be cut short.

The great evening meal of God

The wild beast, the false prophet, kings, top-ranking military commanders, those who worship the wild beast are killed whereas the meek ones on earth are spared from the destruction.

Jesus' return will be like lightning over the sky, and the eagles on the carcasses, so obvious to everybody.
No one needs to be told what is going on around them. (Mt 24:27-28)
All people recognize Christ's return to judge all. (Ac 17:31)
Each individual will be judged by their own conscience. (Ro 2:15-16)
Those who are merciful will be shown mercy. (Mt 5:7, Jas 2:13)

Re 19:17-21
17 I saw also an angel standing in the sun, and he cried out with a loud voice and said to all the birds that fly in midheaven: "Come here, be gathered together to the great evening meal of God, 18 that YOU may eat the fleshy parts of kings and the fleshy parts of military commanders and the fleshy parts of strong men and the fleshy parts of horses and of those seated upon them, and the fleshy parts of all, of freemen as well as of slaves and of small ones and great."

19 And I saw the wild beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to wage the war with the one seated on the horse and with his army. 20 And the wild beast was caught, and along with it the false prophet that performed in front of it the signs with which he misled those who received the mark of the wild beast and those who render worship to its image. While still alive, they both were hurled into the fiery lake that burns with sulphur. 21 But the rest were killed off with the long sword of the one seated on the horse, which [sword] proceeded out of his mouth. And all the birds were filled from the fleshy parts of them.

The great tribulation will end by the judgment upon the Babylon the Great and Armageddon.

After Armageddon (Re chap. 20)

After Armageddon, Satan and demons are bound for a thousand years. (Re 20:1-3)
Then the judgment by the sons of the kingdom begins. (Re 20:4)
They rule as kings with Christ for a thousand years. (Re 20:4)

I view this thousand years as literal 1,000 years for judging and curing redeemed all mankind including Adam.

Re 20:1-3
20 And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven with the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. 2 And he seized the dragon, the original serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. 3 And he hurled him into the abyss and shut [it] and sealed [it] over him, that he might not mislead the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After these things he must be let loose for a little while.

4 And I saw thrones, and there were those who sat down on them, and power of judging was given them. Yes, I saw the souls of those executed with the ax for the witness they bore to Jesus and for speaking about God, and those who had worshiped neither the wild beast nor its image and who had not received the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand. And they came to life and ruled as kings with the Christ for a thousand years. 5 he rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection. 6 Happy and holy is anyone having part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no authority, but they will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will rule as kings with him for the thousand years.

As to the verse 5, it is questionable.
The words in verse 5 aren't found in the Bible's oldest manuscript of the Revelation, the Codex Sinaiticus.
Questionable Words in Revelation 20

World Population Since Creation by Lambert Dolphin

World Population reached:
1 billion in 1804
2 billion in 1927, (123 years later)
3 billion in 1960, (33 years later)
4 billion in 1974, (14 years later)
5 billion in 1987, (13 years later)

World Population may reach:
6 billion in 1998, (11 years later)
7 billion in 2009, (11 years later)
8 billion in 2021, (12 years later)
9 billion in 2035, (14 years later)
10 billion in 2054, (19 years later)
11 billion in 2093, (39 years later)

Population of the PreFlood World by Tom Pickett

Although it is difficult to obtain an actual value of world population at the time of the flood, 5 to 17 billion people would appear to be reasonable populations, with an average of around 10 billion. The best ages for childbirth would be 80.8 to 92 years with 6 to 7 children per family. This would be 20 to 18 generations produced from Adam to the Flood in 1656. The Book of Genesis indicates (Chapter 5) that each family had at least 5 children. Adam and Eve had a total of 7 (including Abel). However, Noah apparently had only 3 children. (It is possible that he could have had sons and daughters that aren't recorded and who weren't on the ark.)

Simple mathematics: Starting with 2 people and assuming only a 2.5% growth RATE from YEAR 1 to YEAR 900 the World Population would grow to a Population in 900 = 8,745,506,821.

8.7 billion (Noah's days) + 7 billion (nowadays) = 15.7 billion
Both days of Noah and days of ours are a peak of the population, and most of them lost or will lose their life by God's judgment.
So the total volume of human population from Adam until now would be less than 15.7 billion at most.

The population growth curve shows a exponential growth after long period of low growth.

Curing such a huge number of people would take literal 1,000 years.
I think it is a reasonable view.

The role of the sons of the kingdom

Judge
The power of judging was given them - Re 20:4

Priests and Kings
They will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will rule as kings with him for the thousand years. - Re 20:6

Who is oppressed?
Is it a noble, strong one or poor, weak one?
Why do you think God choses poor, weak ones in the world?
Is it not true that it is because they are oppressed and are treated unjustly?

Since they experienced pain in life, they are more than willing to help oppressed, despised ones by strong ones in Satan's loveless, self-centered world.

They can accurately represent the pain and sorrow of the oppressed ones in their loving just judgment.
Many sisters seems to be a victim of incest or other sexual miss-conduct, so they are the right person to judge the secret things of mankind with mercy and justice.

1Co 1:26-28
26 For YOU behold his calling of YOU, brothers, that not many wise in a fleshly way were called, not many powerful, not many of noble birth; 27 but God chose the foolish things of the world, that he might put the wise men to shame; and God chose the weak things of the world, that he might put the strong things to shame; 28 and God chose the ignoble things of the world and the things looked down upon, the things that are not, that he might bring to nothing the things that are,

Ec 4:1
1 And I myself returned that I might see all the acts of oppression that are being done under the sun, and, look! the tears of those being oppressed, but they had no comforter; and on the side of their oppressors there was power, so that they had no comforter.

Ps 58:10-11
10 The righteous one will rejoice because he has beheld the vengeance.
His steps he will bathe in the blood of the wicked one.
11 And mankind will say: "Surely there is fruitage for the righteous one.
Surely there exists a God that is judging in the earth
."

Ps 72:12-14
12 For he will deliver the poor one crying for help,
Also the afflicted one and whoever has no helper.
13 He will feel sorry for the lowly one and the poor one,
And the souls of the poor ones he will save.
14 From oppression and from violence he will redeem their soul,
And their blood will be precious in his eyes.

The power of judging will be given to us the sons of the kingdom.
It is loving concern of our father YHWH for the all oppressed people in Satan's rule lasting 6,000 years.

Like the mixed crowd experienced a great saving act of YHWH at the read sea, the great crowd of nations who survived the great tribulation need to learn many lesson in YHWH's worship.
In the end, under the Christ's administration, all will be helped to reach human perfection intended by God.
The death due to Adam's sin will be done away with.

Then Christ will return the designated authority back to YHWH.

1Co 15:24-28
24 Next, the end, when he hands over the kingdom to his God and Father, when he has brought to nothing all government and all authority and power. 25 For he must rule as king until [God] has put all enemies under his feet. 26 As the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing. 27 For [God] "subjected all things under his feet." But when he says that 'all things have been subjected,' it is evident that it is with the exception of the one who subjected all things to him. 28 But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him, that God may be all things to everyone.

Then Satan and demons are released.
God lets each redeemed individual reveal what one really is.
Would the person develop the self-centered spirit of Satan?

It won't any problem for those who develop thanks, faith, and love for YHWH and Christ to be exposed to the spirit of Satan released from abyss.

It is unlikely for Adam and Eve to fail again in this time.
In the garden of Eden, they were caught off guard, but this time they are well aware of the bad result of self-centered disobedience to YHWH, the source of every good things.

All resurrected people are also well aware of what Satan can offer.

However it is the time of changing the authority structure in the world when Christ return the kingdom back to YHWH. Chances are high that Satan deceives nations to challenge the camp of the holy ones, the representatives of the Kingdom who returned the authority back to God.

At that time, the situation would be like God is all things to everyone.
There is no higher authority between an individual and God.
Chances are Satan can deceive someone act selfishly, as he was successful in the past.

Those who adopt self-centered spirit of Satan will be done away with.

Re 20:7-10
7 Now as soon as the thousand years have been ended, Satan will be let loose out of his prison, 8 and he will go out to mislead those nations in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Ma'gog, to gather them together for the war. The number of these is as the sand of the sea. 9 And they advanced over the breadth of the earth and encircled the camp of the holy ones and the beloved city. But fire came down out of heaven and devoured them. 10 And the Devil who was misleading them was hurled into the lake of fire and sulphur, where both the wild beast and the false prophet [already were]; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

This event will happen after Christ's 1,000 year reign.

About resurrection

It will occur during the Christ's 1,000 year reign.
The sons of the kingdom will judge 12 tribes of Israel (whole mankind) which include those who are resurrected on earth.

Ac 24:15
15 and I have hope toward God, which hope these [men] themselves also entertain, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.

Joh 5:28-29
28 Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.

Joh 11:24
24 Martha said to him: "I know he will rise in the resurrection on the last day."

Mt 19:28
28 Jesus said to them: "Truly I say to YOU, In the re-creation, when the Son of man sits down upon his glorious throne, YOU who have followed me will also yourselves sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

1Co 6:2
2 Or do YOU not know that the holy ones will judge the world?

Heb 9:27
27 And as it is reserved for men to die once for all time, but after this a judgment,

Ec 3:16-17
And I have further seen under the sun the place of justice where there was wickedness and the place of righteousness where wickedness was. 17 I myself have said in my heart: "The [true] God will judge both the righteous one and the wicked one, for there is a time for every affair and concerning every work there."

Ec 12:14
14 For the [true] God himself will bring every sort of work into the judgment in relation to every hidden thing, as to whether it is good or bad.

Are there dead people deemed unworthy of resurrection?
The answer is "yes."

There is no room for mercy for those who sin against the holy spirit.
Such person won't be resurrected.

Mt 12:31-32
31 "On this account I say to YOU, Every sort of sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the spirit will not be forgiven. 32 For example, whoever speaks a word against the Son of man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the holy spirit, it will not be forgiven him, no, not in this system of things nor in that to come.

Mr 3:28-29
28 Truly I say to YOU that all things will be forgiven the sons of men, no matter what sins and blasphemies they blasphemously commit. 29 However, whoever blasphemes against the holy spirit has no forgiveness forever, but is guilty of everlasting sin." 30 This, because they were saying: "He has an unclean spirit."

Heb 6:4-6
4 For it is impossible as regards those who have once for all been enlightened, and who have tasted the heavenly free gift, and who have become partakers of holy spirit, 5 and who have tasted the fine word of God and powers of the coming system of things, 6 but who have fallen away, to revive them again to repentance, because they impale the Son of God afresh for themselves and expose him to public shame.

Re 20:11-15 is likely such a judgment to determine if person is worthy for resurrection.
It is YHWH himself to judge if it is an unforgivable sin against the holy spirit.
So the one seated on a great white throne is likely YHWH himself.

Then as the last enemy the death resulting from Adam's sin and Hades will be done away with.
On that event, Christ's 1,000 year reign will end.

11 And I saw a great white throne and the one seated on it. From before him the earth and the heaven fled away, and no place was found for them. 12 And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and scrolls were opened. But another scroll was opened; it is the scroll of life. And the dead were judged out of those things written in the scrolls according to their deeds. 13 And the sea gave up those dead in it, and death and Ha'des gave up those dead in them, and they were judged individually according to their deeds. 14 And death and Ha'des were hurled into the lake of fire. This means the second death, the lake of fire. 15 Furthermore, whoever was not found written in the book of life was hurled into the lake of fire.

I believe that this judgment can only be made by YHWH Himself.
YHWH will judge if a person is worthy of resurrection and if a person is worthy of eternal life.

About Me

I became a Christian being baptized in 1972. Since then, I was a Jehovah's Witnesses for about 40 years.

When I was an elder, I was removed from the eldership of the congregation because I took a position that differed from the policy of the Watchtower Society.

Many years of life as a Jehovah's Witnesses I have experienced a discord between the style of worship of the Watch Tower Society and the teachings of Christ. So, using the Internet I began investigating the Watchtower Society from its beginning.
