Watch out that nobody misleads YOU

Flat Earth is a fact in harmony with the Bible, but not everyone who accepts it believes in the God of the Bible. Even those who do believe in God have different ideas about the nature of God, such as trinitarians and Unitarians.

Therefore, we cannot ignore the following points.

People can be deceived on the basis of facts.
Those who use facts to deceive others are called fraudsters.
We may deceive ourselves out of ignorance, and thus deceive others unintentionally.

Satan, the father of lies, uses facts to deceive people.

Remember what Satan did when he deceived Eve and when he tempted Jesus.

How did Satan deceive Eve?

When Satan deceived Eve, he spoke lies that contradicted God's warnings and rendered God's words meaningless. Satan told Eve that by disobeying God, she could become like Him, knowing good and bad.

It is desirable to know good and bad and to become like God.
God Himself wants us to be like Him, knowing good and bad.

The goal of "becoming like God" that we should pursue is right, but the way Satan proposes to achieve the goal is wrong.

Think about what it means to be like God through disobedience to Him.

To become like God through disobedience to God is to become another god competing with the true God.
It is a reflection of disrespecting God, and it is nothing less than usurping God's position.

Is 14:13-14
13 As for you, you have said in your heart, 'To the heavens I shall go up. Above the stars of God I shall lift up my throne, and I shall sit down upon the mountain of meeting, in the remotest parts of the north. 14 I shall go up above the high places of the clouds; I shall make myself resemble the Most High.'

To raise self up in such a manner is incompatible with God's character who are humble, considerate, and loving.

Those who are greedy enough to take what belongs to God will also covet what belongs to others.
Such people create a ridiculous society full of greed, competition, robbery, violence, and all kinds of crime, which comes from greed.

Remember what happened at the beginning of the human history.

Adam accused his wife Eve in order to protect himself.
Cain killed his brother Able because he wanted to have the upper hand over him.
The fallen angels joined with Satan to become the gods against YHWH.
They robbed Adam's family of the safety and happiness that YHWH intended for them.
The earth, as you well know, became filled with violence.

How should we know good and bad?

Satan's recommendation is to know good and evil through disobedience to God. What does that mean?
It means to experience bad things, to taste bad things.
If we do not obey God, we will actually experience what bad things look like.
Do you think that's a wise thing to do?
I don't think so.
We can know good and bad without being suffered by the harm that results from bad things. This is what our loving Heavenly Father, YHWH, wants us to know. We don't have to taste the bad. We do not need to taste the bad. We can choose to reject the bad things without trying them.

Therefore, God wants us to be wise enough to obey Him.
The tree of good and evil in the middle of the Garden of Eden represents this fundamental truth.

Satan, Demons, and Adam's family made stupid decision with regard to knowing good and bad.
They chose disobedience to God.

The result is as expected.
They are plagued with all kinds of pain, grief, and harmful consequences.


People end their lives tormented by the consequences of evil.
That is not the way God intended us to know good and bad.

God wants us to experience only good.
We don't have to try it to know what's wrong, so we can avoid it from the start.
We don't need to experience bad.

Ps 84:11
11 For YHWH God is a sun and a shield;
Favor and glory are what he gives.
YHWH himself will not hold back anything good from those walking in faultlessness.

Mt 7:9-11
9 Indeed, who is the man among YOU whom his son asks for bread-he will not hand him a stone, will he? 10 Or, perhaps, he will ask for a fish-he will not hand him a serpent, will he? 11 Therefore, if YOU, although being wicked, know how to give good gifts to YOUR children, how much more so will YOUR Father who is in the heavens give good things to those asking him?

Jas 1:13
13 . . . For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone.

Eph 5:1-2
1 Therefore, become imitators of God, as beloved children, 2 and go on walking in love, just as the Christ also loved YOU and delivered himself up for YOU as an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling odor.

How did Satan try to deceive Jesus?

Recall what happened when Satan tempted Jesus.

Satan tempted Jesus using a scripture.
He gave a wrong meaning to the scripture to cause Jesus stumble.

Mt 4:5-6
5 Then the Devil took him along into the holy city, and he stationed him upon the battlement of the temple 6 and said to him: "If you are a son of God, hurl yourself down; for it is written, 'He will give his angels a charge concerning you, and they will carry you on their hands, that you may at no time strike your foot against a stone.'"

Jesus used other scripture to reveal Satan's error.

Mt 4:7
7 Jesus said to him: "Again it is written, 'You must not put YHWH your God to the test.'"

The point is that people can be fooled by misinterpretations of facts.

The way to find erroneous interpretations is to become familiar with the Bible, as Jesus did, and to eliminate errors through relevant Scripture.

People who realize the "Flat Earth" is providing circumstantial evidences and also biblical evidences, which is very educational source of thought.

However, Bible believers, atheists, agnostics, New Age believers, trinitarians, etc., all have different backgrounds and different ways of perceiving the facts.

Therefore, it is good to be careful that our faith is based on the Bible.

We also want to make sure that we make an effort to carefully examine the content and scriptures provided to us.

Instead of being critical, it is better to take the gentle view that everyone is in the process of wanting to know the truth. Then mistakes can be corrected and eventually the full truth can be reached.

Joh 16:12-13
