Gift of procreation

We are under the time and the space.
Our mind is subjected to the 3D physical world which is subjected to time and space.
So I can't help but use words subjected to the time and the space.

Ending the time of being alone, YHWH God begun to produce his firstborn son, then using the only begotten son produces many angelic sons, then finally his earthly son, Adam.

All these creations were done by means of direct operation of the God's holy spirit.
In these cases, there were no sexuality involved.

The sexuality in his earthly creation was a new way to produce the next generation.
Angelic sons don't have such a amazing function of producing offspring.
It was really amazing thing that God created Adam to become a father like God himself.
Adam was granted to have his own family on earth like God has his own spiritual family in heaven.
It proves that God puts full trust in his children.

Adam was supposed to become the father of all human, his offspring.
It was the first time for God to allow creation to produce their own offspring.
I bet that the spirit sons were interested in the process of making next generation which is special asset for the earthly creations.

It was said that bearing seed according to its kind, putting forth living souls according to their kinds. (Ge 1:12, 24)

And there are a variety of procreation methods.
Microorganisms generally procreate by means of self-division.


And there is hermaphrodite.
Many taxonomic groups of animals (mostly invertebrates) do not have separate sexes.[3] In these groups, hermaphroditism is a normal condition, enabling a form of sexual reproduction in which both partners can act as the "female" or "male". For example, the great majority of pulmonate snails, opisthobranch snails and slugs are hermaphrodites. Hermaphroditism is also found in some fish species and to a lesser degree in other vertebrates. Hermaphrodite
The son of the Greek god Hermes and the goddess Aphrodite, origin of the word "hermaphrodite".

Intersex is thought by some to be caused by unusual sex hormones; the unusual hormones may be caused by an atypical set of sex chromosomes.

Living souls on earth are generally gender binary and procreate by sexual union of male and female.

Adam was created from the dust of the earth by means of the operation of the holy spirit without sexual union.

Eve was created from Adam's DNA by means of the operation of the holy spirit.

Knowledge of good and bad is essential.

Adam was alone for some years.
During that time he must have enjoyed God's earthly creations as well as intimate communication with his heavenly father daily about plants, animals and other earthly creations.

Adam also needed to learn what is good and what is bad for God's creations including himself.
He needed time to learn God's standards through surrendering himself to God's ways.
Interestingly YHWH God put the tree of knowledge of good and bad in the garden of Eden.

Ge 2:16-17
16 And YHWH God also laid this command upon the man: "From every tree of the garden you may eat to satisfaction. 17 But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die."

The knowledge of good and bad would be given to Adam from his heavenly father step by step.
Adam's learning process has just got started.

At this point, he was told not to eat this particular tree yet unlike all other trees.
There is no mention why.
It is unlikely that the tree was poisonous.

God told Adam that "in the day you eat from it you will positively die."

God's permission seems to be necessary to partake of that particular fruitage.

Since the knowledge of good and bad is not prohibited from God children including Adam and Eve, they would be granted to eat it when they have learned the sufficient knowledge for a certain stage of life.

Until God qualifies them to eat, they are not allowed to eat it. If they dare to eat it, it would bring them to the next stage of life without qualification for the responsibility. They would start a stage of life even though they are not ready for it.

This irresponsible way of life will bring what is bad, misery for all, so that it couldn't and shouldn't last long. So the death is deserve for such a disqualified ones so as to stop the further expansion of misery.

Ge 2:17
17 But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die."

Adam and Eve shouldn't eat it without God's permission, in other words sufficient qualification is necessary for a certain responsibility.

Knowledge of good and bad is something we need to acquire.
God wants us to acquire knowledge, wisdom, understanding, and discernment.
When we have acquired enough knowledge of good and bad for a certain responsibility, we will be regarded as qualified and will be granted to eat the fruitage so to speak.

Pr 1:7
7 The fear of YHWH is the beginning of knowledge.

Pr 2:6, 10-11
6 For YHWH himself gives wisdom; out of his mouth there are knowledge and discernment.
10 When wisdom enters into your heart and knowledge itself becomes pleasant to your very soul, 11 thinking ability itself will keep guard over you, discernment itself will safeguard you,

Pr 3:13-16, 21-26
13 Happy is the man that has found wisdom, and the man that gets discernment, 14 for having it as gain is better than having silver as gain and having it as produce than gold itself. 15 It is more precious than corals, and all other delights of yours cannot be made equal to it. 16 Length of days is in its right hand; in its left hand there are riches and glory.

21 My son, may they not get away from your eyes. Safeguard practical wisdom and thinking ability, 22 and they will prove to be life to your soul and charm to your throat. 23 In that case you will walk in security on your way, and even your foot will not strike against anything. 24 Whenever you lie down you will feel no dread; and you will certainly lie down, and your sleep must be pleasurable. 25 You will not need to be afraid of any sudden dreadful thing, nor of the storm upon the wicked ones, because it is coming. 26 For YHWH himself will prove to be, in effect, your confidence, and he will certainly keep your foot against capture.

Pr 4:5-9
5 Acquire wisdom, acquire understanding. Do not forget, and do not turn aside from the sayings of my mouth. 6 Do not leave it, and it will keep you. Love it, and it will safeguard you. 7 Wisdom is the prime thing. Acquire wisdom; and with all that you acquire, acquire understanding. 8 Highly esteem it, and it will exalt you. It will glorify you because you embrace it. 9 To your head it will give a wreath of charm; a crown of beauty it will bestow upon you."

Pr 18:15
15 The heart of the understanding one acquires knowledge, and the ear of wise ones seeks to find knowledge.

Pr 19:2
2 Also, that the soul should be without knowledge is not good, and he that is hastening with his feet is sinning.

Pr 22:19
19 For your confidence to come to be in YHWH himself I have given you knowledge today, even you.

What did Adam need to know (learn) to become father?

When Adam was alone he must have leaned a lot about what is good and what is bad in dealing with plants, animals, fishes, insects,and other earthly creations.

He must have conversed with his heavenly father about those things daily.

Then I imagine somewhere God told Adam that "It is not good for the man to continue by himself." (Ge 2:18)

Ge 2:18
18 And YHWH God went on to say: "It is not good for the man to continue by himself. I am going to make a helper for him, as a complement of him."

Adam's stage of life changed from single to couple

Then God brought the female from Adam's DNA to Adam.
Adam was very glad to receive her.

He said,

Ge 2:23
23 . . . "This is at last bone of my bones
And flesh of my flesh.
This one will be called Woman,
Because from man this one was taken."

The term "at last" implies that Adam knew through the time of his being alone what is good and what is bad. He must have felt his need to have association in his own kind, so that he longed for something what is good. Then at last he received it for himself.

Eve also needed to learn a lot about what is good and what is bad in life.
Her learning process has just got started with Adam, her teacher.

At this point of the time Adam and Eve didn't see each other as sexual object.
It was not the mating season yet.

God blessed them revealing his loving purpose on earth.

Ge 1:28
28 . . . God said to them: "Be fruitful and become many and fill the earth and subdue it, and have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and every living creature that is moving upon the earth."

Though they knew that together they procreate offspring and they were naked, they still didn't view each other as sexual object, since it was still not mating season.

Adam must have been received direction, and instruction from his heavenly father everyday.

I assume that somewhere in near future God would say to them that "it is not good for man and woman continue to be naked."
And Adam and Eve would come to learn why so.

Before Adam was ready to become father, Satan had trapped them.

Eve was deceived.
Adam unfortunately chose what is bad.

They were not ready, nor qualified to be parent yet.

God's all children will have come to know what the bad choice exactly mean through the effect of sin, and what the good choice exactly mean through the effect of Christ's sacrifice.
