Those who are possessed by the idea that the modern nation of Israel has some role in the Bible prophecy are deceived or deceiver.
They tend to apply scriptures literally to the physical nation of Israel.
They seem to have the same expectation hold by Zionists.
Jesus said that Jews lost God's favor as a nation.

If there is someone who try to reestablish the physical nation of Israel contrary to the will of God, he is from his own not from YHWH God.

Russell returned to Europe with the intention of addressing Jews on "Zionism in Prophecy" in Vienna, Budapest, Cracow, Lemberg and Berlin. Some Jews were evidently deluded into believing that he had come to convert them to Christianity instead of telling them to return to Palestine. In Vienna this faction made such chaos at his meeting that he was unable to even start his lecture, and to be barricaded to prevent injury. At Budapest and Cracow no lecture could be held because of government restrictions. At Lemberg, the Vienna scene was repeated, and after making two unsuccessful attempts to begin his talk he had to leave by the back way to avoid injury. At Berlin he was able to deliver his lecture, but 120 Jews demonstrated against him from the rear of the hall.
Notice, the role of Russell was to educate Jews in Europe to realize the reestablishment of Israel in Palestine based on the Bible prophesy, which was very convenient for the Zionism.
But European Jews didn't want to go to the undeveloped land of Palestine leaving their conformable life where they now live. This was the sentiment of the majority of Jews at that time. So the Zionist's attempt to let Jews to move to the land of Palestine through the Bible prophecy failed.
Later they employed the other way to accomplish their plan to move European Jews to the land of Palestine. It was accomplished forcefully by Hitler as you know. If you investigate, you will find a fact that Hitler was grand son of one of the Rothschilds.
World War II was designed to accomplish Zionist plan to make the nation of Israel in the land of Palestine, it has nothing to do with God will, nor Bible prophecy.

Expanding upon an idea suggested by Nelson Barbour, Russell taught as early as 1879 that God's favor had been restored to Jews as the result of a prophetic "double" which had ended in 1878 (favor from Jacob to Jesus, then disfavor from Jesus until 1878). In 1910, he conducted a meeting at the New York Hippodrome Theatre, with thousands of Jews attending. Jews and Christians alike were shocked by his teaching that Jews should not convert to Christianity. Russell believed that the land of Palestine belonged exclusively to the Jewish race, that God was now calling them back to their land, and that they would be the center of earthly leadership under God's Kingdom. Early in Russell's ministry, he speculated that the Jews would possibly flock to Palestine and form their own nation by the year 1910. Shortly before his death, he utilized the Jewish press to stress that 1914 prophetically marked the time when Gentile nations no longer had earthly authority with the result that all Jews were, from that time onward, permitted and guided by God to gather to Palestine and boldly reclaim the land for themselves.

On 17th October 1920, Rutherford delivered a lecture in Jerusalem in which he is quoted in The Golden Age 1921 Easter pp.369-382 'Zionism Certain to Succeed' as saying;
"Israel is absolutely certain to be fully established as a nation and the Jews again as a specially favored people of God The zealous workers in Zionism today are fulfilling prophecy. Zionism is one of the steps in the great divine program."

C.T. Russell was a Zionist. The Watchtower Society was created for the Zionism. At an early stage they promoted Zionism agenda, then late 1920 they changed their course and put themselves away from Zionism.
Since native nation of Israel has alredy lost their approved standing in God's eyes due to their rejecting God's Christ in the first century, Zionist attempt to recreate the nation of Israel has nothing to do with the Bible.
The Watchtower Society has not been led by God. It is also a deceptive human attempt to mislead people from the Bible truth.
Jew who is one on the inside is not the natural Israel, but the sons of the kingdom taken from all races.

The true Christian is the one that has the role in God purpose, not the nation of Israel created by the Rothschilds.
very good. I wish I had this article 6 years ago when I was studying with the Bible Students. They still follow Russell, and still believe the Jews should not be converted to Christianity, and will rule from a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem when Jesus returns.
ReplyDeleteYes, I too was one of those bible students. After I saw "Marching To Zion" my eyes were opened to the false notion of Zionism. As I studied moreand researched this subject I also learned that Judaism was NOT an Old Testament religion. Jesus declared that their father was NOT Abraham and that their father was the Devil. Jesus rebuked them calling them a den of vipers, liars, hypocrites, followers of the traditions of men (the Talmud) and The Synagogue Of Satan. They dismissed all those scriptures which I had never learned only after 50 years of studying with this group.
