Christian Freedom, a radiance of Precious Pearl

Christian sons of the kingdom

Christians are not under the Mosaic Law.

Mt 13:44-46
44 “The kingdom of the heavens is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid; and for the joy he has he goes and sells what things he has and buys that field. 45 “Again the kingdom of the heavens is like a traveling merchant seeking fine pearls. 46 Upon finding one pearl of high value, away he went and promptly sold all the things he had and bought it.

I am wondering how many JW brothers and sisters have found treasures hidden in the fields, or precious pearls that they could sell their possessions to buy those pearls.

They say there are many so called stealth apostates who no longer advocate all the doctrines of the WTS.

Would they have found the precious pearl? Are they now prepared to sacrifice all that they enjoy in the JW community to buy it?

Most JWs believe that God is using the WTS as He did the nation of Israel in the past. However, this method of governance was abolished when Jesus replaced the method of governance with a Christian congregation, which is a brotherhood, not an authority structure.

The Mosaic Law has been abolished. The disciples of Jesus were freed from all the demands of the Mosaic Law and its man-made organization. Sabbaths, tithes, festivals, circumcision, punishments, priesthood, purification rituals, kings, military service, and many other practices were no longer necessary.

What are the implications of this?
The top-down authority is gone.
So what has been introduced or brought in?

It was to love God and neighbor without being bound by man-made rules and imposed policies from above.

This is what the Christian freedom is all about.
The law of Christ is to be written in the heart.
Each Christian can do anything loving and upbuilding, motivated by own enlightened heart, not by someone else's predetermined Christian way of life.

So we have no obligation, and accountability to any man-made organization, except only to our grand creator YHWH and his representative Jesus.
No one can judge us by organizational standard, or man-made rules.
For such freedom, Christ set us free.

Ga 5:1
1 For such freedom Christ set us free. Therefore stand fast, and do not let yourselves be confined again in a yoke of slavery.

Christian freedom can be viewed as a radiance of precious pearl.

I hope that our brothers and sisters in JW can highly estimate this appealing aspect of precious pearl, also.

About Me

I became a Christian being baptized in 1972. Since then, I was a Jehovah's Witnesses for about 40 years.

When I was an elder, I was removed from the eldership of the congregation because I took a position that differed from the policy of the Watchtower Society.

Many years of life as a Jehovah's Witnesses I have experienced a discord between the style of worship of the Watch Tower Society and the teachings of Christ. So, using the Internet I began investigating the Watchtower Society from its beginning.
