Abrahamic Covenant

Ge 22:15-18
15 And YHWH’s angel proceeded to call to Abraham the second time out of the heavens 16 and to say: “‘By myself I do swear,’ is the utterance of YHWH, ‘that by reason of the fact that you have done this thing and you have not withheld your son, your only one, 17 I shall surely bless you and I shall surely multiply your seed like the stars of the heavens and like the grains of sand that are on the seashore; and your seed will take possession of the gate of his enemies. 18 And by means of your seed all nations of the earth will certainly bless themselves due to the fact that you have listened to my voice.’”

Promised Seed

The salvation of mankind was promised when Adam and Eve were sentenced to death. The promise gave a hope to all mankind including Adam and Eve.

Eventually works of the Satan will be done away with.

The Bible begins with this promise of relief.

The relief is by YHWH's love for his earthly children.
Because of that love, Adam and Eve were allowed to have family.
All of us are born in God's love with the right to know God's salvation.

Eventually, all will know who rescues them from Satan's works.

The promise is written in Genesis 3:15.

Ge 3:15
15 And I shall put enmity between you and the woman and between your seed and her seed. He will bruise you in the head and you will bruise him in the heel.”

By mean of the seed of the woman, the salvation will come.
So the Bible logically explains the reality of the seed of the woman.
The following scriptures tell us the sequence of the salvation from God.

Ge 28:14
14 . . . by means of you and by means of your seed all the families of the ground will certainly bless themselves.

First, distinguish two parties, "the seed of Abraham," and "all families of the ground."

These two parties are Adam's offspring.

First "the seed of Abraham" will be formed, then "all families of the ground" will be blessed by "the seed of Abraham."

Bible clearly shows that the seed of Abraham is Christ and his disciples.
They are called "the sons of God," "the children of God," "the sons of the kingdom," "the chosen ones," "the holy ones," and "the things in the heavens."

And the rest of the humankind are called "the creation," "a great crowd," "all the nations," "the sheep," "the whole world," and "the things on the earth."

So be instructed that first, "the things in the heavens" will be gathered, then after that "the things on the earth."

Now is still the time for gathering the things in the heavens.

The Bible and the world condition tell us that gathering of the things in the heavens has not finished yet. It is still progressing until the Christ's return.

When he returns with kingly power, "the things in the heavens" asleep in death will be gathered into heaven by means of the first resurrection, and then Christ will send angels to gather into heaven those who are still remained.

After "the things in the heavens" are all set, the God's kingdom will be revealed to the rest of all humankind that is "the things on the earth."

All humankind are eagerly awaiting for that time.

Ro 8:19-21
19 For the eager expectation of the creation (the things on the earth) is waiting for the revealing of the sons of God (the things in the heavens). 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not by its own will but through him that subjected it, on the basis of hope 21 that the creation itself also will be set free from enslavement to corruption and have the glorious freedom of the children of God.

The revealing of the sons of God (the things in the heavens) has not occurred yet.
It means that we are still in the time for gathering "the things in the heavens".

The things on the earth will be gathered by the returned Christ.

The gathering of the things on the earth will begin after revealing of "the things in the heavens."

The great crowd, which no man is able to number can not be gathered by the efforts of men anyway.
We are not commissioned to gather the great crowd or anyone who has earthly hope.

Those who have earthly hope will be rightly dealt with by the returned Christ.

Mt 25:35-40
31 “When the Son of man arrives in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit down on his glorious throne. 32 And all the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate people one from another, just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 And he will put the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on his left.

34 “Then the king will say to those on his right, ‘Come, YOU who have been blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for YOU from the founding of the world. 35 For I became hungry and YOU gave me something to eat; I got thirsty and YOU gave me something to drink. I was a stranger and YOU received me hospitably; 36 naked, and YOU clothed me. I fell sick and YOU looked after me. I was in prison and YOU came to me.’ 37 Then the righteous ones will answer him with the words, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty, and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and receive you hospitably, or naked, and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to you?’ 40 And in reply the king will say to them, ‘Truly I say to YOU, To the extent that YOU did it to one of the least of these my brothers, YOU did it to me.’

41 “Then he will say, in turn, to those on his left, ‘Be on YOUR way from me, YOU who have been cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the Devil and his angels. 42 For I became hungry, but YOU gave me nothing to eat, and I got thirsty, but YOU gave me nothing to drink. 43 I was a stranger, but YOU did not receive me hospitably; naked, but YOU did not clothe me; sick and in prison, but YOU did not look after me.’ 44 Then they also will answer with the words, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison and did not minister to you?’ 45 Then he will answer them with the words, ‘Truly I say to YOU, To the extent that YOU did not do it to one of these least ones, YOU did not do it to me.’ 46 And these will depart into everlasting cutting-off, but the righteous ones into everlasting life.”

Notice, it is returned Christ that separates people based on one's behavior.
People in the world won't survive by the Bible education.
They will survive by their merciful acts as taught by Christ.

Mt 5:7
7 “Blessed are the merciful, since they will be shown mercy.

Those who have earthly hope will be shown mercy by our Father, whether it will be by the resurrection from death or by the coming out of the great tribulation.

All such survivors will learn God who made it happen for them, after being saved by God's mercy either from death or the great tribulation.

So we don't need to worry about such survivors who are in God's mercy.
God himself will see to it that the upright ones will remain on the earth.

Pr 2:21-22
21 For the upright are the ones that will reside in the earth, and the blameless are the ones that will be left over in it. 22 As regards the wicked, they will be cut off from the very earth; and as for the treacherous, they will be torn away from it.

Christ's ministry was for gathering the things in the heavens, not for the things on the earth.

The things on the earth will receive benefit from the things in the heavens as foretold in the promise to Abraham which says that "all families of the earth will bless themselves by the seed of Abraham."

So, unless the seed of Abraham will be ready, the blessings won't come to the Adam's family.

First, completion of the things in the heavens, then the blessings to the things on the earth.

In other words, the salvation process begins with God's kingdom which consists of the things in the heavens.

  1. First the primary king of the kingdom had to accomplish the sinless death to conquer the baseless accuser Satan.
  2. Then the associate kings have to be chosen from all the nations and the tribes of the earth to complete the kingdom of God.
  3. Then, after the completion of God's kingdom, it will start the military operation against Satan's domain to liberate all mankind under Satan's domination.

Now is still the time for choosing of the sons of the kingdom.
The whole member of God's kingdom has not yet completed.
So the blessings for the mankind are still ahead.

Therefore, the Christian Greek scriptures hardly mentions the earthly hope.

Eph 1:10-12
10 for an administration at the full limit of the appointed times, namely, to gather all things together again in the Christ, the things in the heavens and the things on the earth. [Yes,] in him, 11 in union with whom we were also assigned as heirs, in that we were foreordained according to the purpose of him who operates all things according to the way his will counsels, 12 that we should serve for the praise of his glory, we who have been first to hope in the Christ.

About Me

I became a Christian being baptized in 1972. Since then, I was a Jehovah's Witnesses for about 40 years.

When I was an elder, I was removed from the eldership of the congregation because I took a position that differed from the policy of the Watchtower Society.

Many years of life as a Jehovah's Witnesses I have experienced a discord between the style of worship of the Watch Tower Society and the teachings of Christ. So, using the Internet I began investigating the Watchtower Society from its beginning.
